Important: All members, parents, and staff are expected to follow these guidelines to maintain a safe digital environment for everyone in our karate community.
Use of Photos & Videos
We ensure all media usage respects privacy and consent:
- Written parental consent is always obtained before publishing photos or videos of children
- Children's full names or personal details are never displayed with images
- Group photos are preferred over individual images
- Any images or videos are removed immediately if consent is withdrawn
Protection of Personal Information
We protect sensitive information with strict protocols:
- No personal or sensitive information about children is published online
- Only official club contact details appear on our website and social media
- All online content complies with GDPR and safeguarding regulations
- Regular audits are conducted to ensure compliance
Online Behaviour & Comments

Video & Livestreaming
We handle video content with extra care:
- Livestreaming or video recording only takes place with written parental consent
- Cameras are positioned carefully to avoid filming children without permission
- Recorded media is stored securely and deleted when no longer required
- Video content follows the same privacy rules as photos
